Childminding Update

Dear Members,
As we prepare for the next phase of Frame the Future, we'd like to share an important update for families who utilize Childminding.
Beginning Monday, August 17, Childminding will temporarily relocate to the Upper Classroom, overlooking the Aquatic Centre. While the location is changing, our commitment to providing a safe, welcoming environment for your children remains the same.
As Childminding transitions to this space, overall capacity will be reduced. To help Members plan ahead and secure their preferred Childminding time, advance online bookings will continue for Infants (6 weeks to 18 months) and will now be introduced for Children (18 months & older to 6 years) through the Club's website and app.
What's Changing
Monday, August 17: Childminding relocates to the Upper Classroom (overlooking the Aquatic Centre).
To secure a spot, advance online bookings will continue for Infants (6 weeks to 18 months) and will now be introduced for Children (18 months & older to 6 years) through the Club's website and app.
Childminding hours remain unchanged and will continue to follow both our Summer and Fall/Winter/Spring schedules.
Walk-in spaces will continue to be accommodated when capacity permits.
How to Book Childminding
Beginning Tuesday, August 11 at 7:00 am, Members will be able to reserve Childminding for visits beginning Monday, August 17.

Select the appropriate activity:
CM – Infant (6 weeks to 18 months)
CM – Child (18 months & older to 6 years)
Select your preferred date and time.
App
Tap the Menu button in the bottom right corner.
Under the Reservations section.
Choose the appropriate activity:
CM – Infant (6 weeks to 18 months)
CM – Child (18 months & older to 6 years)
Select your preferred date and time.
Helpful Tip: Once the Childminding reservation page opens, click the Spot dropdown menu to view all available Childminding spaces. If the first spot is full, another space may still be available for your selected time.
Transition Timeline
Starting the week of August 10, Members will see two Childminding activities sheets on both the website and app.
Beginning Tuesday August 11, Members can continue to book on CM – Infant and new bookings on the CM – Child activities for visits beginning Monday, August 17.
Existing Infant Childminding bookings will remain available for visits taking place prior to August 17.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
As space will be more limited during construction, we kindly ask Members to cancel any bookings they are unable to use.
Cancellations must be made by 8:00 am on the day of your booking.
Your first no-show will receive a reminder.
Subsequent no-shows will result in a $25 fee applied to your Member account.
These policies help ensure Childminding spaces remain available for as many Members as possible.
Booking Guidelines
To help make the most of the temporary Childminding space, Member bookings are:
Maximum 2 hours per infant/child, per day.
Maximum 10 hours per infant/child, per week.
Advance bookings are strongly encouraged to secure your preferred time.
Members are encouraged to book adjacent available time slots where possible, helping increase availability for all families.
Walk-in spaces will continue to be accommodated when capacity permits.
Away & Play
During Phase 1A, the Away & Play program will be temporarily paused while Childminding is in its temporary location.
This allows our Childminding team to focus on supporting Members utilizing the Club while maximizing availability within our temporary Childminding space.
